Winter skies

The dark fall/winter skies are upon us & it gives me a chance to see how much difference the white paint in the kitchen helps the GLOOMMY lack of lighting.

My next task once a have a day off is to finish painting the dark kitchen cabinets & trim boards.

Have been contemplating what color the ceiling tiles (which later will be yanked out & replaced) should be painted so as to reflect light more. I'm thinking that a yellow tone would be good.

I found a fabric at a local store of sunflowers & blue/white gingham print. Its attractive & summery in its design & I believe I will use it to prighten the otherwise generic kitchen. Its country design works well with our large country kitchen also.
